To the depths

The ocean is considered to be the last frontier of the earth, and it is an extreme environment that blocks the path of its huge water pressure and light and radio waves. Reaching the deep sea is said to be more difficult for humankind than space, and in 2013 the video of the giant squid became a hot topic. The underground is even more difficult to reach than the deep sea and is still full of mysteries.
We want to know the deep sea water, the seabed, and the creatures. We want to know about underground tunnels, caves, water veins, minerals and magma. And deep inside the human heart.

To the heights

Weather information is a daily topic in the sky, but is it enough for sky information? Is the universe only a big topic on a scale? Japan is the only country in Asia to participate in the International Space Station program,It is one of the world’s leading satellite launching countries. Isn’t there “Today’s Space News”? I want to get closer to the atmosphere, clouds, wind, rain, and lightning in the sky.
We want to make the stars, planets, and spaces in the universe familiar. And dreams and hopes that are at the height of people’s hearts.

Understand deeply

I want to deeply understand the information I have collected. I would like to use new technologies, develop new technologies, and deepen my understanding. For example, Japan is the 6th largest volcanic country in the world when combined with its territorial waters and exclusive economic zone, and is one of the world’s leading volcanic countries, with a small territorial area but mostly forests. The resources and energy of the seabed, underground and forests, and large earthquakes are interrelated.
We will contribute to society by deeply organizing and analyzing the collected information using or developing all kinds of technologies.

Overlook high

We want to obtain new knowledge from the collected information. We want to derive design patterns and grand designs with people from various fields. For example, after deeply analyzing and understanding information on the resources and energy of Japan’s seabed, underground and forests, and huge earthquakes, there is information integration from a broad perspective and cross-cutting efforts by experts, and conceptual modeling is possible. We think that it should lead to policy efforts.
We will contribute to society in a wide range of areas, including utilization of resources and energy, disaster prevention and mitigation.
